Approval as a public information associationAn esports association, like other sports associations, can be approved as a public information association if they meet the legal requirements described in the Public Information Act.Like any other approved public information association, esports associations can apply for the municipality's pools and receive the statutory grants (described in Frederikssund Municipality's guidelines for the individual grants). However, a new sport is not always fully comparable to other activities. There may therefore be a need to interpret the guidelines in relation to what is special about a type of association.Therefore, individual terms and interpretations of the guidelines below are specified for reasons of clarity. As part of activity grants for children and young people, the association can apply for grants for expenses incurred for special materials. Subsidies are granted for very special materials, major acquisitions and the like, which the association typically only acquires at intervals of many years or in connection with a new and/or special activity in the association.
